Hi there, my name is Patricia Lubeck and I walk with people through the big transitions in life – birth, death, and trauma.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and have trained in counselling, somatic practice, holistic therapy, and consent & intimacy education. Over the years, I’ve supported people through some of the most tender and difficult parts of being human: birth, death, trauma, grief, sexual assault, attachment wounds, and the slow work of integration and healing.
My work is grounded in both study and lived clinical experience. Alongside formal academic training, I’ve spent years immersed in trauma research, books, lectures, and continuing professional development. I also work in counselling and community mental health, where I support people living with complex trauma and cumulative grief.
I’ve facilitated workshops for Macmillan Cancer Support and The Rainbow Project, and have spoken at the Northern Ireland Assembly on trauma-informed and community-based topics.
My approach is integrative, relational, and body-aware. I draw on psychology, somatic work, mindfulness, creativity, and a deep respect for the ways trauma shapes our nervous systems, neurology, embodiment, relationships, and sense of self.
Trauma Club brings all of this together. It’s a space where I share what I’ve learned through study, practice, and sitting alongside people in their hardest moments. My hope is that you leave with a deeper understanding of trauma, greater capacity to meet life’s challenges, and a greater sense of compassion for yourself and others.
