End-of-Life Planning: a gentle, creative, and practical workshop

End-of-life planning is not only for the sick, the elderly, or those at the edge.
It is for anyone who wants to meet life with a little more clarity and care, whatever age or stage they are in.

This is a calm, trauma-informed day for tending the practical and relational threads that hold a life together. A space to slow down, look clearly, and begin putting things in order without fear or urgency.

We will look at the obvious and essential:
medical wishes, advance care planning, financial and legal basics, and how decisions are made if you cannot speak for yourself.

And we will also look at what is so often overlooked throughout this process.

Together, we’ll explore how you might be missed - not only emotionally, but in household, relational, and practical ways:
the roles you hold, the care you give, the quiet labour and knowledge others rely on, the everyday things that would need tending in your absence.

Rather than predicting death or preparing for the worst, this workshop is about about care, continuity, and easing the load for those who remain, whether family, friends, neighbours, or chosen kin.

The day includes guided, practical exercises with printed materials to support reflection and clarity. You’ll be invited to work gently, at your own pace, translating insight into next steps.

Everyone will go home with:
– a practical folder to get started
– clear guidance for what comes next
– access to an online e-book for ongoing support

A shared lunch is included, with space for rest and informal conversation if you wish.

There is no requirement to share personal stories, and nothing here assumes illness or imminent death. Choice, consent, and emotional safety are central to how the space is held.

This workshop is open to adults of all ages.
You do not need to be dying to prepare for living well.
