It has always surprised me how doulas and celebrants are one of the few professions that don’t have ongoing supervision as part of their personal safe keeping. These sessions are for all those of us who feel somewhat lonely in the work. They’re also a great space to debrief difficult experiences with someone who understands the work itself.
