About Lesson

Hello and welcome!

Meet Patricia.
As a full spectrum doula, Patricia has been tending to the big thresholds in life – birth, death, and trauma – for more than a decade now.

Beyond completing university degrees,  numerous holistic trainings, and a whole host of experiential courses with leading experts in their respective fields, Patricia has gained a vast amount of hands on experience from working with clients in person and online. For the past 3 years, she has trained and mentored Doulas and funeral celebrants, getting a feel for the skills and information needed to effectively sustain working in end of life care.

Her work is also deeply rooted in ancestral practices from her upbringing in rural Germany where tending to community, particular at times of threshold crossings, was based in both, continuously honed relational skills, as well meaningful connection to secular ceremony and ritual. Stillbrith and miscarriageare continue to be a running thread in Patricia’s ancestral story and personal life.

She now blends her passion for science and research, the compassion of her upbringing, and hard-earned expertise in caring for birthing and dying families.

This course is the antidote to what is missing in our current healthcare and mental health services. It takes a vast and complex topic and breaks it down into bite-size chunks of information while also offering practical steps to meet people in a time of need.
